Kalshi's parlay product generated 68% of the platform's record $3.7 billion in monthly volume, with the house running a 25% edge on those contracts, according to data published Wednesday by RG.org.
The figures cover September. Separately, Kalshi's 15-minute gold market produced $5 million in fees during the same month, surpassing the platform's Ethereum contract by volume. The gold market operates on short settlement windows designed to attract traders who treat commodity price moves as events rather than positions.
The parlay edge of 25% sits well above what regulated sportsbooks typically disclose. For a product category that Kalshi has marketed partly on the basis of market efficiency, a 25% take rate on 68% of total volume is a structural fact that sits in tension with that framing.
