Kalshi has announced sponsorship agreements with five Major League Baseball teams, bringing the prediction market operator into stadiums across the United States while it faces active scrutiny from federal regulators.
The deals include in-stadium branding, signage inside and outside ballparks, online promotions, and team-specific offers. Kalshi did not disclose the financial terms or name all five clubs.
The announcements come while the CFTC continues to examine Polymarket over insider trading and while Cboe's binary options proposal has divided regulators. Kalshi itself has asked the SEC to pause Cboe's earnings contracts, a filing that signals the company is engaged on multiple regulatory fronts simultaneously.
Sponsorship agreements with MLB franchises give Kalshi exposure to tens of millions of fans per season and position the platform alongside established sports betting and daily fantasy operators that have used league partnerships as a primary acquisition channel. Whether that audience converts into active traders on event contracts remains the operational question the deals do not answer.
